Diese News sollte euch eigentlich schon vor einiger Zeit erreicht haben, aber ist scheinbar nie zu euch durchgekommen. (Vielleicht wurde Sie vom Stromausfall neulich „gefressen“?) Ich möchte mich auf jeden Fall dafür entschuldigen, dass diese Informationen verhältnismäßig spät kommen. Ich kann euch versichern, dass wir alles tun, damit euch daraus kein Nachteil entsteht.
Ihr werdet online und mündlich im Zeitraum vom 3. bis 5. August geprüft. Die Prüfungen werden abends zwischen 17 und 21 Uhr stattfinden und ihr solltet ca. 30 bis 35 Minuten für den ganzen Prozess einplanen. Die genauen Zeitslots werden wir vorher individuell mit euch abstimmen.
Es ist nicht ratsam, vieles auswendig zu lernen. Wir prüfen viel mehr auf Verständnis und Fähigkeiten als auf Wissen. Auswendiglernen könnt ihr euch also bei vielem sparen. Wir wollen jedoch, dass Ihr die Grundpfeiler der behandelten Moraltheorien (außer Virtue Ethics) beherrscht und einen groben Plan davon habt, welche großen Themen wir im Kurs behandelt haben. Ihr solltet wissen, wann ein Argument sound ist, aber müsst kein anwendungsbereites Wissen aus dem PT Teil haben. Ihr solltet Moraltheorien auf einfache bis mittelschwere Fälle anwenden können. Das wichtigste ist aber, dass ihr zielsicher computerethische Probleme in unterschiedlichen Facetten identifizieren könnt und euch dazu eure eigenen, begründeten Gedanken machen könnt. Eine der besten Prüfungsvorbereitungen dafür ist Diskutieren.
Die Prüfungen sind Einzelprüfungen. Das heißt, ihr müsst keine strategischen Überlegungen zu Redeanteilen, Antwortreihenfolge etc. anstellen. Die Prüfung kann wahlweise auf Deutsch oder auf Englisch abgelegt werden. („Denglisch“ ist auch erlaubt.)

This news was supposed to have reached you some time ago, but apparently never got through to you. (Perhaps it was "eaten" by the recent power cut?) In any case, I would like to apologise for the fact that this information has come relatively late. I can assure you that we are doing everything we can to ensure that you are not disadvantaged by this.
You will be examined online and orally between 3 and 5 August. The exams will take place in the evening between 5 and 9 p.m. and you should plan about 30 to 35 minutes for the whole process. We will coordinate the exact time slots with you individually beforehand.
It is not advisable to learn a lot by heart. We test much more on understanding and skills than on knowledge. So you don't need to memorise much. However, we do want you to have a good grasp of the basic pillars of the moral theories covered (except Virtue Ethics) and a rough idea of what the big issues are that we have covered in the course. You should know when an argument is sound, but do not need to have applied knowledge from the PT part. You should be able to apply moral theories to simple to moderately difficult cases. The most important thing, however, is that you can accurately identify computer ethics problems in different facets and come up with your own reasoned thoughts on them. One of the best exam preparations for this is discussion.
You are examined individually and not with multiple students at a time. This means that you do not have to think strategically about speaking parts, the order of answers, etc. The exam can be taken in either German or English, or a mix of both.
