Exam Summaries

Hi everyone,
We’ve uploaded all the summaries – exactly as they’ll be printed out for you for the exam – as feedback for Project Phase 7. Just click on ‘Download Feedback’ there. Please have a look at them and check that everything looks as it should. If you spot any errors, please contact me (Svenja) or Sarah as soon as possible.
In addition, I have a little last-minute gift for you. As part of my Bachelor’s thesis, I developed a tool that, amongst other things, checks arguments in Extended Standard Form for validity. It does have a couple of limitations, such as the fact that it can only correctly process English-language propositional logic. If you think it might be useful to you, feel free to give it a go.
But here are a few words of warning: Due to a lack of large data sets, it has never been evaluated on a large number of ESF arguments and may therefore still contain errors (I’d be grateful for any reports :) Furthermore, it has been programmed to be extremely strict regarding the spelling of arguments. So it’s quite possible that it will reject arguments that we accept in the lecture. And last but not least: It wasn’t programmed to be used by several hundred students at the same time, which is why I’d ask you to refrain from spamming queries. If it breaks anyway, I won’t be fixing it.
Enjoy your day, everyone,
Svenja
