Mock Exam

Written on 29.06.2026 19:50 by Sarah Sterz

Hello everyone,

I know that many of you find it difficult to know what to expect from an Ethics for Nerds exam. Therefore, we will have a voluntary mock exam next week and the week after that during the classroom sessions. Such that we can print enough mock exams, you have to register for each of them on the personal status page.

What you have to know:

  • The tutors have come up with a mock exam. The mock exam is the tutor's best effort to simulate an exam. The tutors don't know the real exam questions, though. So their exam might be harder or easier than the real exam, or it might have a different focus than the real exam.
  • The tutors have split the mock exam in half, such that the first have of the mock exam is done next week and the second half of the mock exam is done the week after that.
  • Our real exams will have a duration of 120 minutes. The classroom session will be 60 minutes of exam writing, and then 60 minutes of explanations of the results by the tutors. (Hence the exam is split up in two weeks.)
  • The mock exam is voluntary. You can attend one or both of the sessions, though it is recommended to go to both.
  • The mock exam is not graded, and it will not be checked by staff members.
  • We will start at 12:00 sharp!
  • Please bring your own paper and a pen. You can also bring a phone with the lecture script as a replacement for the cheat sheet to the mock exam.

Best wishes,
Sarah

PS: The new chapter will be uploaded tomorrow. My apologies for the delay!
