Final Retake Exam Results

Dear students,

The results of the final retake exam are now available on your personal status page in the dCMS, and you will also be able to see the total points and the points you scored per exam exercise.

There have been 84 participants. With at least 40 points, the final retake exam is passed. This has been achieved by 58 participants. The highest score obtained is 75.5 out of 90.

The grading scale is unchanged with respect to the main final exam: provided you have passed one of the final exams, the (maximum of the) sum(s) of your scores in midterm and final exams will result in your grade according to the following table.

1,0 – points ∈ [134.00 ; 180.00]
1,3 – points ∈ [124.00 ; 133.75]
1,7 – points ∈ [115.00 ; 123.75]
2,0 – points ∈ [107.00 ; 114.75]
2,3 – points ∈ [100.00 ; 106.75]
2,7 – points ∈ [94.00 ; 99.75]
3,0 – points ∈ [89.00 ; 93.75]
3,3 – points ∈ [85.00 ; 88.75]
3,7 – points ∈ [82.00 ; 84.75]
4,0 – points ∈ [80.00 ; 81.75]

The result is also displayed on your dCMS page.

We can share the following observations about the retake exam:

•  About one-fourth of the participants (20) had previously passed the final exam. Their point score total in the retake is on average 2 points below their earlier score.
•  The majority of the participants, 57, were students who had failed the final exam before. 40 thereof now have managed to pass the retake and thus the module. Their total score in the exam has improved by about 12.5 points on average. Congratulations!

In total, 195 students wrote one of the final exams with 163 (83.5%) eventually passing. 

You will have the chance to inspect the marking of your exam. The exam inspection will take place on Thursday, April 09, 2026, from 16:00 to 17:00 in HS002 of E1 3.
