Important Information on the Re-Exam
Written on 26.03.2025 12:42 by Sarah Sterz
Hello everybody,
The re-exam of Ethics for Nerds will take place tomorrow. Please read the following carefully:
- Remember that the reexam will be on Thursday from 14:00-16:00 (even though the official Klausurenkalender of SIC says that it will be in the morning).
- Your summary pdfs, as they will be printed for you to receive in the exam, are available for you to check out. You can download them as feedback to the first summary you submitted. (If you see feedbacks to multiple summaries, the files will be the same.) If you think that your document is faulty in some way or if it is missing altogether, let me know by Wednesday. Notice that you will only have received a summary pdf if you achieved the exam admission.
Hint: If some of your summaries were over the character limit and got truncated, just put the missing material on your cheat sheet. - Check your assigned lecture hall and seat on your personal status page (scroll down to see the section “Exam Seats”). Only students who have an assigned seat can partake in the exam. If you think that you should have a seat but your personal status page does not show one, then please get in touch with me as soon as possible.
- If you have Nachteilsausgleich, your seat should be displayed as "External". You will be seated in the foyer of the GHH lecture hall. If you have Nachteilsausgleich but were assigned a regular seat in the GHH lecture hall, then please get in touch as soon as possible.
- We will start at 14:00 sharp with the exam. Please be in front of your assigned lecture hall at least 10 minutes before the exam starts. Students who are late might be denied entry to the lecture hall and therefore cannot participate in the exam.
- The exam will take 120 minutes.
- You will need your student ID card, as well as a pen with indelible black or blue ink, preferably a ballpoint pen. Fountain pen ink that can be erased with ink eradicators ("Tintenkiller") is not indelible and therefore not allowed to be used in the exam.
- You may bring one handwritten, double-sided DIN-A4 cheat sheet. Dictionaries are not allowed unless your dictionary is accepted by the staff member in your lecture hall before the start of the exam. You will be given a printout of your summary.
- If you bring food, make sure that it's not noisy or smelly.
If you have any questions about the exam, please let me know in time.
Best wishes,
Sarah
